I Land in Thailand explores the fruity and floral facets of an oud from the Trat province, revealing a more expressive side of the material. The opening is vivid and ripe, with guava, pineapple, mango, and coconut creating a creamy tropical impression.
At the heart, fruit and florals begin to converge, guided by a juicy, jammy Trat rose. A trio of white florals follows. Frangipani brings waxy richness, ylang ylang adds depth and warmth, and orange blossom lifts the composition. Together, they create a floral body that feels sun-warmed and substantial.
In the drydown, the Thai oud comes forward, supported by muhuhu, cedarwood funebris, oakwood, and a light veil of incense. The woods temper the fruit and florals, allowing the fragrance to finish with balance and refinement. Lush without excess, this interpretation of oud emphasizes richness and ease.
