Adventure in Assam moves through both time and space, evoking an Assam of a bygone era. It opens with the astringency of black tea, sharpened by camphor and a rush of cool air.
The heart develops warmth, bringing carnation, rose, jasmine sambac, and coumarinic lavender into focus. The florals are lightly spiced with clove, balanced by the dryness of tea and the faint sweetness of tobacco.
The drydown is smooth and enveloping. Peach-toned cedarwood and creamy sandalwood are joined by Assami oud, Pompona vanilla, and ambergris. An olfactory rendering of place, shaped by tea, spice, flowers, and oud.
