Sainte Vanille approaches vanilla as a material of depth and structure rather than sweetness. Aged Madagascan vanilla tincture and clove-derived natural vanillin form the core, opening with warmth that is resinous and spiced.
Frankincense rivae, myrrh absolute, Cypriol labdanum, and galbanum resin bring contrast and tension, grounding the vanilla in smoke and bitter green. Citrus and floral notes of kumquat, osmanthus, rose, iris, jasmine, and elemi appear gradually, adding lift and dimension without overt brightness.
As the fragrance settles, vanilla remains present but transformed, shaped by resins, smoke, and green facets. Sainte Vanille is contemplative and structured, offering a composition where vanilla is disciplined by incense and resin.
